Brief Description: Adding cooling shroud to the regulator
This is a "catch up" task related to the lighting kit. I have a couple of these to do. I rushed the basic kit, so that the wings could be painted, and now I can take the time to do the bits I left out.
The landing light (I believe) draws sufficient power to require cooling to the rectifier/regulator.
The lighting kit provides a shroud for the regulator and a "blast tube" to force air over it. Step one is to install the shroud . Four holes drilled in the outboard cooling fins, some RTV paste, and the job is done. See Picture 1.
