Summary of the last few weeks: Got the back up compass back from Dynon, and reinstalled. Got the windshield fairing finished up, and added some weatherseal around the front of the slider, to hopefully, deflect any raindrops down the side of the canopy, vs. coming on my lap. Basically, just wrapped up construction at the house, and prepared the plane to move to the airport. Today, we moved it to the airport. We used a friends trailer, but when we got the nosewheel on the ramp, we saw that the tail was definately going to hit when we rolled it up. So, this is how we do it here in Tennessee. A couple of guys that were helping me are big guys. Real big guys. They basically just lifted the plane up, while I guided the nose straight and we carred the plane up. Same for the offload. It was kind of funny. Wish I had video. Anyway, the move went good, despite the cold rain. Now she is safe in Mike's hangar, waiting for me to visit.
