Brief Description:  Riveting Top Skin

Had a EAA technical counselor visit today, to look at my wiring work behind the panel before I closed it up. He was happy with everything, found a few wires that needed a little rerouting and securing, and I did that in about 10 minutes after they left. Then I got started riveting on the top panel. I was able to do a good majority of them myself, except for the ones along the longeron, where I had to crawl inside on my back, and buck from below as Mike Hathoway stayed outside and used the rivet gun for me. Got one side completely done, then he had to leave. I finished the other side up to the longeron rivets. Will do those tomorrow and then ready to start on the windsheld. I also attached the other screws in the glareshield, and had to re attach the wires for the LED panel lights, as I cut them while riveting. I didn't route them very good, and now they are in a better place. Last, I threw in the floormats. I figured they will help me tomorrow when I'm laying on my back under the panel, trying to reach those far back rivets near the firewall.
