Finished putting in the #8 screws and nuts into the canopy slider rail. Managed to get those nuts on with vice grips holding the socket, angled JUST SO. Wasn't easy, wasn't fun, but it's done. Also cut the 2" hole in the firewall for the heater, but decided against the square heater valve I ordered from Vans. I'll return that and get the standard valve. Borrowed a 2" knockout punch from someone on VansAF.net. Awesome. Sending it back tomorrow.
