Assembled hardware for canopy rollers and clamped them in position. Then, I cut to length the side channels for the canopy side rollers and drilled pilot holes for them. I clamped them into position on the fuselage side rails. Then, I fabricated the rear slider rail, primed it and riveted it together. I double countersunk the rivets so that it would lay flat on top of the fuselage, and the slide mechanism would slide without catching a rivet head. I also countersunk with #27 countersink the screw holes that will attach the rail to the top of the fuselage. Finally, I drilled and attached the rear slider onto the canopy frame. The canopy frame is ready for the first trial fit, but that's it for this week, back to Dallas tomorrow.
