Woke the house up early with some power sanding. Worked on the cowl, smoothing the high spots, etc. Riveted the hinge to the inside of the cowl, and riveted the other half of the hinge to the oil door. Also riveted in the latches to the oil door. Replaced the lower cowl on the plane, and have started trimming the front side ramps to fit the "elephant ears" I epoxied onto the top cowl. That process continues. Went back later and got the front side ramps cut to fit, and then I put the cowl back on, and put another coat of epoxy on there. Hopefully, it will cure okay as my pump was messing up, and the ratio may not have been perfect.
