Brief Description:  Top Skin Riveted, Windshield

Finished the top skin riveting. Also rerouted the dynon magnometer to the aft deck. Still have to fabricate a mount for that. Also secured lines inside the aft fuselage. (that was fun). Then messed around with the AFS magnometer a bit. Then I secured the windshield with screws to the roll bar, and fabricated the little clips that secure the front, which will be buried in fiberglass. Then I started with the fiberglass work. First, I roughed up the skin area where the glass will go, then cleaned it. Then I laid layers of electrical tape down to form the border of the fairing. Then, I put a filet of epoxy and glass bubbles into the crack where the pexi glass meets the aluminum. Then I started laying layers of fiberglass around the bottom fairing. I used a little black dye in the epoxy for a nicer look from the inside, looking at the back of the fiberglass. I'll let that sit, probably through the weekend, and then start on the roll bar fairing. I should be finished with this by the end of next week, and then I will be done with everything I need to move to the airport. I promise some pictures soon. I've been too busy working.
