Brief Description:  Little things

Riveted the bellcrank support channel, and angle to the 706 longeron. Primed all that stuff from yesterday. Riveted together the elevator bellcrank, and fabricated the aluminum spacers, and bolted the bellcrank in, perfect fit. It will probably have to be removed later, but its in there. Drilled the Canopy decks to the longeron, and deburred and primed them. Put another coat of paint on the side rails, but I still think they are going to get beat up. I probably should have just left them primed. Thats what I decided to do on the canopy decks. I put a few rivets in here and there, and started putting on the aft top skins. Got the aft one on, then removed it for further fluting to get the holes to line up better. That is pretty thick skin, and it reminds me of clecoing the fuel tanks for the first time. I riveted in the spacers above the 706 bulkhead. I fabricated the top stringers, cut them to length, and put the little notch in them to allow them to connect to the forward bulkhead. I drew a line down the middle of the top of them, and duct taped them in, ready to drill when I finish getting the top skins on. Seems like I did more, but it was a bunch of little things that just added up.
