Brief Description:  Crotch Strap Mounts

Primed all the center fuselage ribs and small parts. Then reassembled ribs to the bulkheads, and drilled AN holes for the seat ribs to the bulkhead. Then clamped and drilled the two crotch strap mounts between the seat ribs. That took a little head scratching on how to drill those holes, while maintaining alignment with the seat ribs, and the seat ribs to the bulkheads. Trial and error and got it done. Deburred all those parts, and drilled holes for the platenuts that will attach the seat skins to the upper flanges of the crotch mounts. The hardware that came with the seat mount kit from Vans calls for AN-5 bolts, but the actual seat belt mounting hardware that came with my belts from Crow's calls for AN-4 bolts. So, I drilled for the 4's and will procurr some of the smaller bolts. All the other mounts for seatbelts use AN-4 bolts, so I thought this was strange. Also, speaking of seatbelts, I replaced one of the seat belt brackets that had some hole-edge distance issues, and I thought it safer to just re-do it. Done. I think I'm right at 600 hours now. About a third done, maybe?
