Brief Description:  Right side, HS

Cleco'd in the nose ribs and riveted them in, making the same little indentation of the front of the middle nose rib in the skin. Too bad this time it's on the top side. Also used the pattern of the HS supports and made a third support to hold up the left side while I work on the right. Put the right side in the supports, then put in the forward spar assembly into the right skin, and supported the left side in my new holder. Cleco'd in the forward spar, and main ribs to the forward spar. Riveted in the ribs, and got one side of the spar to the skin. One second of carelessness cost me a huge smiley in the skin of the top side. I spent an hour drilling out rivets so I could have access to try to push out the dent from the back side. It looks aweful still, but way better than it was, so I feel a little better. During the fix, I had to fashion a rubber grommet to push one of the ribs small tab that connects to the spar together while riveting. I drilled a hole in it, pushed the rivet on it and used it to push the rib back to the spar. I got the rivet started, took the grommet off and finished the rivet. It turned out well, and I've learned something new. Also, I got better at drilling out rivets. The key is to go slow and correct the centering of the hole by moving the drill as required. No pictures coming of the smiley, sorry. I'll always remember that little mistake.
