Brian and I each worked for 6 hours on a downdraft paint box. Parts will sit on hardware cloth while being painted and a blower will pull overspray and fumes down into the box where they then get exhausted out a window. Room divider hardware was attached to the ceiling. A plastic curtain can be drawn around the paint box to create the paint booth to protect the rest of the workshop from overspray. We'll plastic the walls and put protective paper on the floor next.
One more hour or so putting plastic up on the walls and paper on the floor to contain the overspray. Test samples came out nice. The downdraft box did a nice job sucking up the overspray and fumes. A furnace filter caught the overspray. Fumes were exhausted out the window.
