I wanted to show how I trimmed the R-710 rudder brace because I know a few builders cut too much and didn't have enough edge distance for the rivet holes. By cuttintg just above the pre-drilled hole, the edge is right even with the flange on the left (see first pic) and it fits perfectly on the rudder skeleton as well as leaving enough edge distance for the rivets. In the last pic you can see how the pre-drilled hole is deburred into a smooth notch.
