Brief Description:  Rudder Skeleton Assembly

Today I clecoed the rudder skins on and final drilled all holes to the rudder skeleton. Trimmed the R-710 rudder brace to fit and clecoed to the bottom of R-904 bottom rib and R-405PD rudder horn and final drilled to #30. Then using the bottom skin holes as guides I match drilled the skins with the brace using a #40 drill bit. I finished up by fabricating the two R-918 rudder bottom attachment strips and clamped them in place. Then I drilled them to the skeleton, using the existing holes as drill guides. Next is disassembly to deburr, dimple and prime.
