I aligned and match drilled #40 the forward portion of E-721 using the holes in E-701-L and E-606PP as a drill guide. I used the long piece of 1/4" steel I used as my bucking bar to back rivet the rudder as a straight edge to make sure the elevator and tab aligned evenly. I also used a couple of #40 drill bits in between the elevator and trim tab to give me the proper spacing between those two components. I used a cleco clamp to hold the hinge on the inboard side and worked my way outward drilling holes and it turned out very well.
