Brief Description: Final Drilled Left Elevator Skin
I took up where I left off of the left elevator today by final drilling the skin to the understructure. I removed the skin and deburred the drilled holes. Then I deburred the E-606 trim spar and countersunk the top flange to accept the dimples from the skin. It has to be done like this so the hinge can be attached underneath the top flange. All the other holes were dimpled using the pneumatic squeezer. Finally, I deburred the E-713 counterbalance skin and dimpled all required holes including the two counterbalance screw holes on the end.
