Brief Description: Assembled Right Elevator Understructure
The instructions say to start off by riveting the E-703 end rib to E-704 counterbalance rib but a lot of builders have a tough time riveting them onto the spar when done this way so I took their advice and started with riveting the E-704 counterbalance rib to E-702 spar. Then I riveted the E-703 end rib to the Spar and counterbalance rib. Next I riveted on the E-610, E611 and platenuts to E-702 spar. Then I riveted E-709 to E-702 using flush head rivets so I could rivet on the WD-605-1-R rudder horn to E-702 spar and E709 rib. Next I riveted E-713 counterbalance skin to E701 skin with two rivets at the top and the bottom. These get riveted on now because when the understructure goes on they would be hidden and would have to have blind rivets installed instead and wouldn't look as good as using flush rivets.
Riveted E-704 counterbalance rib first then E-703 end rib.
Rudder horn riveted to E-709 and E-702 spar.
Two rivets top and bottom of E-713 to E-701 get squeezed.
