I beveled the inbard and aft edges of the right E-713 counterbalance skin so the E-701 skin can make a smooth transition over it when assembled. Otherwise I suppose there might be an unsightly bulge in it. I dimpled all of the understructure and skin. I also went ahead and drilled #30 and dimpled the last two holes on each side that will attach the elevator tips later on. Not sure if I should have done this but the plans called out for it when I did the rudder because space is very limited for dimpling later on when everything is riveted together.
