Brief Description:  preparing for doubler bonding

Installed the doublers to see how they line up and made some wood sticks to clamp the doublers down on the rotor blade. There is no need bending the doublers to match the bottom of the rotr blade, but the doubler need to bent to match to the top ofthe blades.
Once doublers fit to the contour of the rotor blades it is time to bomd them in place.
Preparation of the blades was done according BJ's instruction witch scotch-brite to get off te oxydation and washing off the blade and all doublers with Acetone.
Getting the correct layer of adhesive between the doublers, rotor blade and filler bock is tricky. Minimum thickness of the adhesive is 7/1000" and recommended is 12/1000". Eagle R&D recommends measuring the thickness of the blade and doublers before bonding and tightening the 2 bolts so the thickness after bonding isf 60/1000" bigger.
After discussing the Issue with Blake Estes from EagleR&D we decided that mixing the epoxy with .010" glass beads at 10 percent by weight would assure proper bonding gap everywhere.
