Brief Description: machining and assembly of door locks
started machining the cabin lock housings. Milled off the sides on all 3 housings. The rod provided by Eagle R&D is mild steel and i used a stainless steel rod instead. Bent the rods with my acetlyn torch per drawing and polished them. I then drilled the mounting holed into the housing. The lock which is at the front of the door and is mounted on a curved surface and i decided todill the holes in an angle and perpendicular to the mountig surface, which shouil look a lot nicer. Next I assembled the locks installing the spring and the locking pin and they are ready now for installation onto the door and for drilling on assembly.
