Finished the collectve friction device today. Cleaned up all parts. Pressed in the 3/16 bolt into knurled friction control knob. Drilled and reamed the 2 brackets for the 3/16 bolt.Used a nut plate with friction nut and riveted it to one of the brackets. The drawings call for soldering the nut to the bracket, but I did not wantto heat up the self locking nut required to solder on the nut. Assembled the entire friction control device and drilled the 6 mounting holes for the 1/8" rivets.Made also a doubler plate, which I will need when l willI install the friction device to the floor pan.
