Brief Description:  Landing Gear Work pt. 20

Attempted to get nuts onto outboard landing gear bracket bolts using borescope, cell phone and socket extensions. Proving to be much more difficult than anticipated. Called Van's Builder Support and Grove to inquire about torque sequencing and the gap between the left landing gear leg and the outboard upper wear plate. Van's was uncertain about the importance of the torque sequence; Grove said it shouldn't matter, and the gear leg should pull into place with torque.
Based on another builder's experience shared on facebook, I placed temporary bolts, nuts and washers through the aftmost bulkhead and tail spring mounting bracket. Without these bolts, the assembly is held together with only two rivets. If the tail is dropped without the bolts in place, the two rivets are easily sheared.
