Brief Description: Elevator Trim Vernier Bracket Work
Laid out and drilled six #40 holes in elevator trim vernier bracket for rivets. Had to hand-work horizontal holes in bracket to assure proper edge distance before drilling out to #30 size. Researched methods for drilling holes in upper aft brace for mounting bracket. Had to remove instrument panel and sub-panels from fuselage for better access. Clamped bracket in place; match-drilled first vertical rivet hole in upper aft brace and clecoed. Match-drilled remaining vertical pilot holes before final-drilling all holes out to #30. Clecoed bracket in place and test-fit vernier in assembly.
