Called Van's builder support to discuss sloppy fit of WD-814 windscreen support weldment; 5/16" total gap on vertical tabs; gap below triangulated gussets. Some good suggestions were made; I extrapolated and came up with the idea of using my cherry picker to help bend the heavy steel tube hoop.
