Brief Description: Mount Horizontal Stabilizer pt. 3
Double checked layout of attach holes on bottom of H.S. front spar splice angle. Checked specs, measured and re-measured before using drill punch to set hole locations. Spun long drill bit by hand in each punch mark to enlarge divot and ensure proper drill bit location. Bought a drill guide block, but it couldn't be used on all four holes because of clearance issues. Made another guide block out of hardwood scrap; redrilled new holes after each use to minimize play. Checked many times before clamping guide blocks and drilling four 1/8" pilot holes through splice angle.
