Rearranged shop area; secured horizontal stabilizer stand to C-frame table. Clamped horizontal stabilizer to stand. Trimmed end cap ribs around aft rivet holes to allow fiberglass flanges to flex for better initial fit. Sanded flox and fiberglass on plug ribs. Mixed small batch of flox with five-minute epoxy to fill some gaps around shaping plugs. Mixed small batch of Aeropoxy Light and applied to aft side of plug ribs. Sanded inner surfaces of aluminum skins along mating flanges at ends of horizontal stabilizer. Mixed small batch of Pro-Seal and applied to aluminum flanges and fiberglass tip flanges. Fitted tips to horizontal stabilizer; clecoed in place, then secured with blind rivets.
