Purchased 1/4" copper tubing; fabricated inserter for temporary hinge pins and bushing for drilling elevator horns. Mounted left elevator and drilled initial center hole in elevator horns. using bushing to protect center bearing. Removed left elevator and repeated process for right elevator. Called Vans to discuss bolt inventory confusion; I had two incorrect size bolts in kit. Double checked final hole size (1/4") and order correct size bolts. Secured elevators to table; drilled out elevator horn holes to final size and deburred.
