Reamed and dimpled remaining holes in left elevator and counterbalance skins for attaching fiberglass tips. Attached counterbalance skin to elevator skin with two inner rivets. Clecoed left elevator together. Drilled and deburred holes for two MSP-42 blind rivets and pulled rivets in closure tabs. Riveted skin to understructure, leaving out top row along E-606PP trim spar for hinge. Riveted E-705 root spar to trim spar. I had meant to leave the inner flap of top skin loose to be able to rivet the missing platenut in place using the C-frame table when I received it in the mail, but remembered it too late. I will have to find another way to set those rivets, or order a shorter yoke for the squeezer. Then... disaster struck... or so it seemed...
