Brief Description: FAA AD 2020-25-12: Crankshaft Replacement
Received news that FAA AD 2020-25-12 was put in effect, regarding certain Superior Air Parts crankshafts that have manufacturing defects and require replacement. Downloaded the AD, studied the applicability and compared part numbers and serial numbers with my crankshaft. My crankshaft needs to be replaced. Checked with my DAR and Barrett. My zero time engine needs to be stripped and rebuilt with a better crankshaft.
