Discovered that the Discoat did not fully cure inside the canopy; pooled into puddle of goo; discussed on VAF website. Masked fuselage for canopy work. Placed canopy on fuselage and pondered methods and questions; left messages with Scott Hersha and Terry Lutz. Terry called back; additional help should be used to trim canopy; he'll see what he can do. Made cardboard buffer plate per Van's instructions; fit between windscreen and canopy hoops. Revised fuselage masking.
