Taped inserts to firewall flanges. Sanded and smoothed inner edges of top cowl. Ran screws in and out of nose nut plates to ease engagement. Reamed excess epoxy out of grommet and pilot holes. Fit top cowl and checked alignment of existing pilot holes; marked offsets on top cowl.
