Brief Description: Elevator/Stabilizer Work pt. 23
During scuffing, discovered ten missing nut plates along top edge of inner skin edges for empennage fairing. Reviewed plans, determined layouts, drilled and countersunk holes and riveted nut plates to underside of skins. Only had seven nut plates left in stock; thanks to Leo Knowlden for bringing me three from his stock. Drill sprayed tool oil onto freshly prepped skins; cleaned with acetone and isopropyl alcohol. Rescuffed lightly and cleaned again thoroughly with alcohol and cleaning solvent.
