Installed replacement fan and tested; fan ran for less than two seconds before failing. Other fan still worked. Contacted Jason; he confirmed that my parallel wiring was correct and that the fans should not have failed. Ordered two more fans and contacted Digi-Key customer support. Set a plan of action; packed both defective fans to ship back to Digi-Key for inspection. Improved the ends of test cable with new clips and battery connector. Confirmed that voltage supplied by battery was within spec.
