Brief Description: Vertical Stabilizer - 01 - VS Final Drilling
- Clecoed the Vertical Stabilizer (VS) stiffner to the VS spar (VS-808 to 803) and then the hinges to both (VS-410, 411 and 412). - Match drilled the holes in one of the bottom hinge set brackets. - Finished the edges and fluted all the VS ribs (VS-704, 705, 706 and 707). - Clecoed the VS Ribs to the front and rear VS spars. - Final drilled all hinges, rib attach points and spar stiffners. - Attached VS skin. - Drilled all holes in Skin with #40 bit. - Marked all parts and removed skin. - Disassembled VS & removed blue plastic. - Ready for deburring, dimpling, countersinking, prep and prime.
