After reading several builder sites about the screws installed per plans turn when installing the pulley brackets I knew I would be doing something different. I really didn't care for the idea of slotting the regular screws and soldering wire to it.
I made a few modifications to the EZ Studs (AC Spruce P/N 04-06335). I ground two sides flat and then drilled two holes in the flanges. Once these are floxed in I shouldn't have any problems with the stud rotating while tightening the nuts during pulley installation.
