Brief Description: CH4-19: Trimmed Glass on 1st Side of F28
First time using my new Fein (Clone) tool. Overall I didn't like it. Compared to knife trimming when the glass is still green, it was a major in pain in behind. It was loud, messy and if there was any vibration in the part, it just wouldn't cut (which that's all the part does is vibrate due to the vibrating tool). I think a roto zip or cut off wheel would have been faster and with less hassles but maybe not as accurate. The one thing this tool has going for it is that you can rest the bottom of the blade on the material you have already cut and getty a fairly straight cut out of it. I didn't get too close because I was still learning how to use the tool but next time I'll make sure I start may lay up early enough to knife trim the part.
