Brief Description:  CH4-10: Started to Layout Landing Gear Foam

Spent about 1.5 hours looking through boxes of foam and comparing Spruces' Catalog to the Cozy Parts list and the Plans and Newsletters. None of them match. One of the issues is that suppliers have changed and therefore the (color) references are wrong, the brand name is wrong and the dimensions are wrong (other than thikness.

For the LG foam:
- The Cozy Parts List call for a 43.24" x 43" sheet (which I didn't have anywhere)
- Spruce Catalog for the same PN said it was 37 x 37.5" (Calls it Blue or Tan)
- The Plans just don't say, other than "Tan" medium density foam

I didn't have a sheet of Tan foam at all, let alone one that was 43.25 x 43 or even 37.

What I did have was a "Yellow" sheet 39.3" x 39.3", .25" thick, that when placed between the High Density stuff you cut most of the bulkheads out of and the loose cell stuff you make the sides out of, turns out to be of "medium" density.

What really took me so long was I started wondering, "If I'm missing this sheet, then what else am I missing?" I had 3 back order items that I was able to identify and Spruce didn't indicate that to me at all. I had to email them and then they told me the parts I was inquiring about were back ordered. I started wondering if there were others and I just didn't identify them.

So I went through every piece of foam and the Plans Foam Cut List and the Cozy Parts list and identified the piece of foam and what it would be used for. When I got done, through process of elimination...this 39x39 sheet had no home other than the LG Bulkheads. Also, when layingout the templates, it looked close to the foam cutting guide as well...So I'm going with it.
