Brief Description:  CH4-05: Gluing the Foam Pieces Together

Used the Hinge method with Duct Tape on one side then hunge the foam off one end of the bench and applied 5 minute epoxy. I cut one end off the pop cycle stick to make it easier to spread the epoxy and scrap it off.

The first one didn't turn out so great but by the second and third I had the hang of it. Obviously you don't have a lot of working time so you gotta be cooking. It was tough to move fast and not make a mess, especially when you feel it start to kick off.

After I was done and the part was laying flat, I hit the edges of the seem with some acetone while the epoxy was still wet. Trying to reduce how much sanding I am going to have to do.

On the next one, I'll put tape on the other side so when I scrape the excess off it will only be on the tape and not the foam.

Ready to trace and cut.
