It flies just like the CFI said, straight and true. It does not need any kind of aileron trim. I am so proud. It is going to take some time learning to slow it down. Took me three times to get it on the runway, it just floats and floats and floats. I finally took my pattern out about a mile and slowed it down to 70 on downwind. I held 70 on base and final, then slowed to 65 on short final and it practically landed itself. What a wonderful landing plane. I have never landed a plane that is so easy to land, once you get it slowed down. I think the reason it took me three tries is that all my RV transition training was in an RV-7A and this thing just will not sink compared to the 7. By the time I touched down, I felt like I could get out and run along beside the plane, it was so slow.
