We had some real challenges with the fuel selector. Specifically, the torque tube that runs from the selector on the top of the console down to the actual valve was misaligned. As a result we had to remove the base, disconnect all of the plumbing, and re-epoxy the base that the selector valve sits on.
Again, working in very cramped quarters and frequently "upside down and backwards" call for acrobatic ability and flexibility that this old body didn't possess. But we soldiered on and got the job done.
