It's been almost a year since my last update. Time sure does go by fast. Thing are moving so slow for the shop and plane right now sometime I wonder if will ever fly. I am determined to see that happen. With a promotion at work and some other life matters it seams there is no time to work on the shop and the RV-7. I designed a door and had it built by my sons metal shop. Got it home and installed it to make sure it would work. There were a few miner problems to work out but it went up and down some what like i envisioned it. I took it back down to send it for sand blasting and paint. I told them I was in no rush because its hot here and I hate working outside in the heat. Maybe I will see the door in a few weeks. I can then move the RV-7 back home and get organized and start working on it again.
Guess I missed the fact that the floor was poured a couple of months ago. It was a none event, my son came over with his crew and had it done in about 6 hours. I will stain it at some point and and add a nice top coat to make it smooth and shinny.
