Brief Description:  Flap Construsion

I actully started the Flaps last year some time I just don't remeber when. I do know I have 12 hours in them as of today. I have had little trouble with the Flaps so far, but I haven't bucked any rivets yet. I did have some concern as to how to assemble them in the right order so I could get to all the rivets to bucked and not trap myself. Then I read the instructions a little closer and looked at some other builder sights and put that concern to bed. I am kind of held up right now due to the weather, it has been on the cold side. To cold to primer paint the Flaps before final assembly. I don't have any heat in my garage, after all this is Arizona. I need cooling in the garage not heat. It should only last a couple of weeks and then the afternoons well be warm enough to paint again. This gives me time to catch up on some other thing that I don;t need heat for.

One thing that I had to order from Van's was the Rod End Bearings for the Flaps. I didn't get them in the kit. I'm not sure if they come in the kit or not. I didn't have them so I ordered them.
