It's been some time since I have posted here. Yes I am still actively working on the RV-7. I haven't post anything new in a few month because I haven't had a computer to do so. It was a few months ago and my very old computer crashed. It was dead after my years of service. So I went to my back up computer. It wasn't much newer then the first one and it only lasted a month and it pooped out on me. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a new one so close to Christmas so I relied on the computer at work for anything I need to look at except posting to my kit log. I finally broke down and purchased a brand new one, which I hope lasts me another 5 years.
I think my last post was about the leading edges and installing Duckworks lighting. I have moved on to the ailerons and the flaps. I don't know why but I had so much trouble with the alirons. I put a big dent in one of them with the bucking bar that I had to fix. I ended up making a new bucking bar that was much easier to handle and made it a lot better for bucking.
I am pretty good at fixing dents so after paint I don't think anybody will see the dent. But trust me when I tell you it was ugly and big. I didn't take any pictures of the dent, but I do have some of the repaired area.
