Brief Description:  Working on the leading edge, install duckworks bra

I didn't get a lot done today, my friend Bill came over to drop some stuff off at the house. Being a pilot for one of the Majors he also was interested in looking at my progress on the 7. We are riding our Harley's up the Coronado Trail this weekend. So airplane talk and Bike talk took up most of the morning.

I did get the lighting bracket nutplates installed in the left leading edge and finished the cutout on both leading edges. Other then that it was a BS session in the garage today. I am a little disappointed that I forgot to talk some pictures of Bill checking out the 7. He started life as an A&P on Constellations. Then moved up to DC-6's to start his flying career. Really a nice guy with great stories.

I have the right leading edge ready to paint, the left is already complete and riveted together by the original builder. On the right I riveted the nutplates in and the left I used pop rivets. I kind of think pop rivets are cheating, but they are a little easier to do.
