Brief Description: Mounting the Elevators and Rudder
Today I started mounting the elevators and rudder to the stabilizers.This was easy because I had already fitted them to the stabilizer when I constructed them.Now I began finishing the rudder. It needed the leading edge rolled so my friend Doug Knab came by to help in the process. We rolled and riveted it together. Now it's time to fit it to the horizontal stabilizer. This wioll not be as easy as the elevator because it's the large elevator offered by Van's and just finished it has not been fitted yet. Doug helped me fit it to the horizontal stabilizer.I now fit the stops in place and riveted them on.Cleaned the shop and quit for the day.
