Started on the elevators today. Working on both left and right at the same time. The first job entails trimming all the stiffeners for the skins. There are 31 of them, so it is time consuming to do the layout, trimming, and (using the scotchbrite wheel) shaping and smoothing. Then we clecoed the stiffeners in and match drilled them to the skins.Then you get to prep all the stiffeners for primering. Completed those tasks and got them painted and while I was doing that, Matt was busy deburring and dimpling the skins.
