Great to get started and we began by fabricating the two 908 attach brackets and the 909 shims. No problems there. Probably spent too much time on them, but they came out nice. Then we clecoed together the entire horizontal stabilizer skeleton and drilled it out. We were going to wait to start the project at EAA Chapter 723, but no space is available yet, so we decided to begin in the garage. I made copies of the plans and had them laminated. It make them "shop tough" and you can use erasable markers to write notes on them.
First parts. Spent too much time on them....you know, it's that "first parts" thing.
