Brief Description:  Started Wiring

Began trying to hook up some of the wiring.

Decided on a fuse block rather than circuit breakers. Want to keep the wiring as simple as possible.

The Ray Allen stick grips were all wired up some time ago. The small wires were difficult to handle but the job was eventually done. Used a terminal block and Molex plugs for the connections.

Supprisingly the elevator trim worked first time, the same could not be said for the flap control.

The flap control involved a little trial and error. My main problem was mis-inturpetation of the switch diagram. In the process of trying things I destroyed one of the microswitches (over ran, reversed and removed the actuator arm!). A replacement quote from ZAC was $ 109.00 US (and a several week wait). After much searching on the internet I managed to find a replacement for $20.00 US. The switch itself is identical but the actuator is different and actually more robust. The actuator comes as a separate part that attaches to the side of the switch.
