Had made previous attempts at forming Lexan lenses for the wingtips to mount the landing lights there. Never got acceptable results at forming lenses in the wingtips and abandoned that idea. Not a big fan at cutting into the wing leading edge. So decided to work out a mount on wing strut. I made a base plate from .063" 6061-T6. Only used two holes of the strut end mount so the plate could be removed and modified later if necessary without having to support the wing . Had to make a new light mount from .050" 4130 sheet to move the light down to center on the strut. The light will be adjustable for best light projection as needed.

A future project may be to find a way to fair this with fiberglass.
