Brief Description: A little painting and aileron bell crank calculati
Went to put a coat of paint on the parts I welded yesterday. Decided to try to mount the aileron bell cranks and discovered with the same length bolt I was getting different amount of threads stick through the other end. Upon measuring I discovered that I left the right wing side a little long on the drive mechanisim that the bell crank bolts to. Amazing that I got it welded in the correct spot but I did. I took the dremel and cut 3/16 of an inch off the total length. This would have caused the cable to rub the pulley a little to much causing excess wear.
