Spent some time making my 2 false spars. Found that the false ribs had the hole drilled in the wrong spot for the flap torque tube. I had to make these holes oval in order for them not to rub.
Visited the local AP at our regional airport looking for someone with a selection of AN hardware but instead had to order from Aircraft Spruce.
While there he was doing the first annual on a new carbon cub and I got to look it over with all the inspection plates removed. I was stunned by how light the thing was built compared to the bearhawk. The bearhawk has a lot of aluminum in the wing compared to that thing. But I did like the wing lights so I took a photo in hopes of doing something similary in my wings.
